Once again Shambala are teaming up with Sustrans to offer mass cycle rides from 10 UK towns and cities to the Shambala festival site.
This is a fantastic sustainable way to head to the festival site that can also be turned into a week’s family holiday. All rides will have a guide, campsites will be pre-booked and baggage is carried by the support vehicle. With around 30 people on each ride, it’s great fun, as witnessed by feedback from last year’s riders.
Towns and cities so far confirmed are : Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, London, Sheffield, Lechdale, Middleton Cheney, Stoke and Coventry
Rides range from 1 to 3 days with overnight stays at campsites along the route. 1 day rides cost £10, 2 days £15, and 3 days £20. Under 18’s go free. Campsite fees are not included. The first £10 of every cycle ticket goes to support Susran’s work maintaining the National Cycle Network. The remainder helps to cover costs. The initiative is subsidised as part of Shambala’s sustainable transport initiative. Return journeys are the responsibility of the riders. There will be free shuttle buses to the nearest train station.
See you on the mass bike ride to Shambala!!
