After having worked in slums in Delhi and spent time with women who had been the victims of sex trafficking and forced into prostitution, friends and now business partners Natasha Rufus Isaacs and Lavinia Brennan wanted to give these women more opportunity. Together they have launched ethical fashion label- Beulah.

Beulah London - Natasha Rufus Issacs and Lavinia Brennan - Sex Trafficking Charity - Ethical Fashion

Beulah London, which has just been nominated by the United Nations for a Business Leaders’ Award, has unveiled its first collection “Amazing Grace” for Spring/Summer 2011. The collection, which features a butterfly print throughout, symbolic in the transformation these women go through from cocoon to butterfly is made up of beautiful silk cocktail dresses and gowns.  These beautiful pieces have already had a warm reception from style icons such as Sarah Jessica Parker.

With every purchase a canvas bag is given, which has been stitched by the Beulah London - Natasha Rufus Issacs and Lavinia Brennan - Sex Trafficking Charity - Ethical Fashionfemale survivors of sex trafficking, who are supported by a charity project. Ranging from £165 to £560 and made from the finest silks and cottons, the dresses are beautifully cut, designed to flatter and set to be a staple piece in your wardrobe.

By donating a portion of their profits to Indian and UK organisations dedicated to eradicating modern-day slavery and by staging cross promotional events to raise awareness, their ‘aim is to equip and empower women and young girls who have been trapped and exploited in the most appalling way.”

Beulah prove that fashion can be beautiful all the while being for a great cause, keep an eye on them as we predict great things for these girls this year.

For those of you wanting the perfect fit, bookings are now being taken from the Beulah London headquarters.
